Isn’t fussy cutting fab? Sometimes I’ll just take a sheet or two of patterned paper and fussy cut everything I might want from it out in advance of having a specific project in mind for that/those sheet(s). It’s like making your own premade die cuts for (usually) a fraction of the cost of such. Plus, I find fussy cutting to generally be a relaxing and very enjoyable activity.

Thank you immensely on every front, my sweet friend. It’s hard to believe that the early to mid-summer “birthday season”, as we affectionately refer to the 26 day period that encompasses and spans our respective b-days has come and gone again.

Interestingly, as I just touched on in my latest post here, Tony’s b-day was extra unforgettable this year, as we ended up being put on wildfire evacuation alert in the evening of that day. Thankfully we did not end up being evacuated that time around, but it did make for a busy evening of gathering up essentials to pack, if needed, at a moment’s notice and hosing down the yard + house as a flurry of ashes rained down on our neighbourhood. Never a dull moment, as the old expression says!

I hope that your August is going wonderfully and that Victoria hasn’t been threatened by any wildfires this year.
