This truly is a beautiful book filled with fascinating tidbits of knowledge and a slew of stellar images spanning multiple centuries.

I’m planning out some of my book review posts for 2022 and hope to highlight one or two more books in the coming year that focus on the history of witchcraft/magick as well, plus various other titles on a range of topics. Ideally, I’d love to get in 5 – 7 book reviews next year, if possible.

Happily, with the cooler weather upon us again, it’s prime reading time and that means book review time as well for me. 😊

I fell into it organically from the first one here and have scarcely altered it since (why tinker with what works?).

I sincerely agree with you and all but jump for joy when contemporary authors in our sphere (and in general, for that matter) make a point of acknowledging the broader community of people that have been instrumental in helping to shape the fascinating history and modern-day state alike of the occult/Paganism/witchy/etc.

I am seeing more and more do so, which is a hugely needed and welcome shift that will, hopefully, only continue to increase all the more with each passing year.

Thank you very much, dear Pauline. Great assessment of this title. It is a terrific book for those who may be new to the history of the occult, while at the same time housing more than enough useful info and awesome images to appeal to many who are already well versed on the subject.

Plus, while we’re all told not to judge a book by one, the cover of this title is head-turningly beautiful and that only helps to up the appeal of The Occult Book all the more.
