Back in 2017, mere weeks after the fire, Tony embarked on an ambitious #project365 photo challenge and diligently stuck with it the whole year through (even in the face of multiples moves and often being intensely busy as we began to rebuild our lives again).

This gorgeous photo was captured as part of that project and stands out as not only as one of my favourites he took that year, but of all time. I remember saying to him back then that I just knew I’d use it/share it online in a witchy capacity someday and am thrilled that 2020’s Halloween blue moon gave me the opportunity to just that.

I hope that you and your own honey had a fun-filled, fa-boo-lous Hallowen and that your November is off to a terrific start.

You’re wonderfully kind, dear Debi. Thank you very much. I hope that you had a splendid All Hallows’ Eve – complete with a clear view of this rare, gorgeous October 31st blue moon.

Thankfully, despite both rain and snow on and off for days leading up to Halloween, the weather mellowed a touch come the big day (and night) and so we were able to enjoy a crisp (re: nippy, but dry) evening and clear view of this stunning full moon.

Wasn’t there though? I feel like I was able to release not only scads that needed a parting of the ways from October, but from the whole of 2020 thus far.

I plan to do a serious release and banishing, coupled with supportive balancing and revitalizing workings come the last full moon of the year (which falls on December 29th this year) – extending it not only to my own life, but to the planet as a whole.

Thank you so much, my dear friend. How right you are! To say that I live for autumn time – and especially the season of Halloween + Samhain – would be a serious understatement. I doubt a single day goes by all year when I don’t think about this meaningful fall time celebration, and love finding ways – new and longstanding alike – to help keep the sweet, spooky spirit of the fall going strong throughout the other three seasons.
