Thank you very much, dear Ivana. I enjoy a mix of both scented and unscented. It really depends on my mood, the purpose of why I’m burning candles at that moment, and various other factors (including the fact that while my husband likes some scented candles, he’s not as wild about certain others and I really try to be mindful of that point).

Plus, while not always, of course, unscented candles can sometimes be easier on the ol’ wallet and that is rarely a bad thing in my thrifty books! 😄

How right you are, my dear friend. It is both amazing and a beautiful gift regarding how candles can soothe, revive, inspire, and delight us.

Loved ones know that candles are always a perfect gift for me, as I could blissfully have one (or more) lit just about anytime I was awake and in the same room with it/them.

What are some of your very favourite candles scents? (I’m guessing that, much as we both adore autumn, you too enjoy many fall-scented candles.)

We are two peas in a fall-scented candle adoring pod, dear Celeste.

Much like you, I naturally gravitate towards warm, spicy, beautiful autumn and winter perfect candles the whole year through.

They’re not the only ones I burn, of course, but they do make up a sizable percentage of most year’s candle usage.

A few of my favourite non-fall/winter scents include vanilla (which, while it can certainly tie into those seasons, is more a year-round scent in my books), cranberry, pink grapefruit, pine, fresh-cut grass (hello, Yankee Candle!), sweet tobacco, and those that can accurately capture the scent of rose, jasmine, and lilac without coming across as fake or chemically.
