How right you are. While my mom and I have had our ups and downs over the years (almost exclusively during my youth), for the past couple of decades, we’ve been closer than ever and really are blessed to share an incredibly tight, loving, respectful bond.

I sincerely hope that you have the same with your own mother and/or other close relatives.

How awesome that you studied linguists. I’d love to hear more about your experiences on that front anytime, if you’d like to share some of them with me.

So true! It is always quite surprising to find that you don’t have many (or any) products pertaining to a fairly common animal (or other subject matter).

I ran into that again with my most recent make (not blogged about yet), when I discovered just how few cycling-related products I have. Thankfully though, a lovely sheet of bike-themed patterned paper came to the rescue. 😊

Thank you very much for your wonderfully kind words about this fun elephant-themed birthday card. Even though the end result is miles away from how I’d initially envisioned it, I’m very pleased with how this card came out and even more happy that my mom adored it.
