Thank you SO much, my very dear friend. Hand on my heart, I thought of you numerous times over the course of putting this post together – especially in regards to those storage/organizational ideas aimed toward sewing products.

Both of those really leapt out at me as well – as did ones such as spray painting plastic storage towers and housing cans of spray paint in a hanging shoe organizer.

Pre-fire, I stored the bulk of my paper punches in one. Owning far less of those these days, I keep them in two drawers of (speaking of which) a plastic storage tower. However, you can still find a hanging shoe organizer in my wee craft room. In this instance, it is where I keep most of my acrylic stamps (organized by theme).

You raise a terrific point regarding how sometimes purging is the most logical/effective way to organize. Though I have not run into that thus over the years in terms of my craft supplies, I have here and there with my wardrobe. In such instances, letting go has felt cathartic and knowing that what I got rid of went to friends/relatives and/or charity helped to make those experiences all the more positive.

I wish you the very best with any organization/purging jobs you undertake, my friend – and know that if we lived nearby, I would gladly give you a hand. I enjoy organizing so much that I will gleefully help others tackle theirs as well. 😊

I could not agree more regarding the therapeutic nature of organizing and (sometimes at least) cleaning. The same rings true for me as well, which I have long been deeply grateful for.
