You’re splendidly kind, dear Emmat. Thank you very much. Fall wrapped up mightily quickly around these parts in terms of the weather. We received our first snowfall of the year in mid-October and have scarcely been without at least a light dusting of flakes ever since. Thankfully though, via home decor and crafting, fall has continued to carry on with vigour under our roof and will continue to do so right up until the Winter Solstice.

I hope that your season is going positively and that you have a cozy, wonderful tail end of autumn.

Thank you sweetly, dear Pauline. It’s hard to believe that another autumn is nearly over. As they so often do, this one sped by faster than a maple leaf caught in a brisk October breeze. I’m so grateful that paper crafting allows us to stay all the more in touch with each season even after it has wrapped up for the year, and plan to make numerous fall themed projects between now and the start of next autumn.

Hard to believe that in a matter of weeks, we’ll be into winter again – complete with all the festive cards (be they homemade or purchased) that this chapter of the year entails.

While I’m in no hurry at all to lay fall to rest, I must admit, I’m in an ever-more wintry mood this month. No doubt in sizable part due to the fact that it began to snow here in the second half of October and has continued to do so on and off ever since. 😄

I think of you often and sincerely hope that your November is going positively – and that the weather is at least a touch warmer still on your end.

Much like Charlie Brown says to Linus at the end of It’s the Great Pumpkin, another Halloween has come and gone. That’s always a toughie for me, I tell yah!

Thankfully though, there are plenty of ways in which we can keep both Halloween and fall time itself going strong in our lives beyond October 31st. Paper crafting spooky season makes is a big one for me and I look forward to (hopefully!) making at least a few new fall related projects between now and next September.

I’m mildly addicted to pleated ribbon and pleating in general when it comes to papercraft. I remember really falling in love with pleating in this capacity many years ago now after I first read Anna Griffin’s 2004 book, Designer Scrapbooks. The projects highlighted in it didn’t have too much in the way of pleated ribbon, but did house plenty of creative ways to plate (and mitre) paper. I was hooked immediately and have been ever since.
