Hello dear Donna, thank you very much for your lovely comment. Alas, this post (much like the two project shares last year) was one I penned quite some time ago now and completely forgot to reschedule. Well, I did think about it here and there earlier in the year, but figured at the time that I would leave things as they sat, given that I didn’t yet know I wouldn’t be returning to blogging again this year on even a semi-regular basis (perhaps in 2024 – time shall tell! 🙂).

All that to say, that while I am not back in any real sense, I am not abandoning or retiring this blog at present and am grateful to know that when I do return, some of my readers/online friends will still be here to share in it with me.

Hi sweet Willow, thank you very much for your thoughtful comment. Your huntch is correct. This post – penned last year, did indeed go live without me meaning for it to do so this autumn. As much as I had hoped at the tail end of 2022 that I’d return to this site on a quasi-regular basis again, for a multitude of reasons, that hasn’t been possible and I don’t foresee it being for a while more still (and, I’ll be totally frank, part of that is simply that I am greatly enjoying and finding a lot of positive mental health benefits to being online – generally speaking – as little as I possibly can these days).

All that said, I do not view this site as being dead in the water, so to speak, nor do I currently desire to close/retire it. I take comfort in the fact that it is still here, ready and waiting for me to post (on purpose, LOL!) again sooner or later at whatever pace that may be.

I too think of + miss you (and your awesome site), and really hope that this autumn is smiling warmly and blessedly on you, my dear friend.
