It is my heartfelt pleasure, dear Ivana. Many thanks in turn for your supportive comment. I really appreciate it and hope that January has turned around at least a bit for you, as I know you've been having a challenging go of things lately.

Thank you so much, dear Tammy. I really appreciate your supportive comment.

How awesome that you've been able to petroglyphs in person at multiple spots through the US. There are some examples scattered across Canada and while I've not yet had the pleasure of viewing any in person, sincerely want to do so, if possible, at least once or twice in my life.

I hope that your month is going positively and that it blossoms into a peaceful, safe, lovely February.

Aww, thank you very much, dear Anesha. I appreciate your encouragement and kindness.

Thank you very much, Donna. That sounds like such a meaningful experience. I'd love to traverse areas like that myself, too. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll get the chances (my DH and I both enjoy nature walks and light hiking, so you never know! ).

It is my absolute pleasure, sweet Debi. Thank you very much for your supportive comment.

Isn't this a wildly fascinating subject? I've been immensely interested in the history of the human species (and life on earth in general) since early childhood. It's an area that for all we may currently know, there is so much that remains a mystery and which will likely always reside in the ethers of time, echoing through down the generations in our DNA as humans.

It is my absolute pleasure, Ann. Thank you very much in turn for your supportive, sincerely appreciated comment.

There really is something tremendously interesting about cave drawings and other remaining signs of early human life. It feels both radically far removed from our modern world and yet, at an intrinsic level, deeply familiar and relatable. These days our cave walls might often be digital ones, but we're still striving to create, leave a lasting sense of who we were, and design something that resonates with those who come after us.

Thank you very much, dear Anesha. I'm delighted to know that you enjoyed this book suggestion. The development of the human species (and life on earth in general) is a topic that fascinates me to no end. I'd be happy to share a list with more of the titles I personally recommend on this topic anytime, if you'd like (just shot an email my way via the contact form here on my blog).

You're wholeheartedly welcome, dear Shelia. Many thanks in turn for your fantastic comment.

I too have reflected on similar points before as well - especially as a lifelong lover of history and genealogy.

As radically different as today's world would no doubt be to someone even just a few generations back (let alone tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago), fundamentally, at a basic level, we'd share an incredible amount in common with our forebearers. I'd argue even more so than then ways in which we differ.

That is incredibly interesting regarding the early drawings that you found in those two provinces. I hope to follow in your footsteps and look upon some of it myself one day, too.
