Sweet Pauline, please do not worry for the tiniest of moments. Goodness knows I can sincerely relate.

My own health continues to worsen rapidly, with ever lesser and lesser time spent online as a result – nearly every moment of which (does happen) I try to throw into a mix of medical research and blog post writing.

That said, I am going to do my very best to try and visit many of the blogs I follow (your own wonderful site included) within the next few days or so.

I am tremendously sorry that your own health is far from ideal as well and cannot overstate how much I appreciate you sharing some of your better moments with me and my wee corner of the internet. Thank you deeply.

Thank you very much on all fronts, my sweet friend. I was 100% caught off guard by the return of Daylight Savings this time around. Usually, it is something I hear/read about multiple times in the days leading up the switch, but not this time around.

I understood immediately why the time on my phone and that of the clocks around our house was off by an hour, but was still surprised and as I tend to when we “spring forward” each year, felt a touch jetlagged for a few days afterwards. (Interestingly, I do not experience that sensation when we “fall back” each autumn).

How magnificent that you have a conservatory of your own. They are not an overly common thing here in Canada – especially outside of very old (by Canadian standards) and/or large abodes. Gardens and greenhouses, you bet, but again, conservatories are a relative rarity. I have often imagined how delightful and inspiring it would be to have one of our own. Who knows, perhaps someday!

I can certainly understand that regarding fussy cutting and know that it is not everyone’s cup of tea. All the more reason then to celebrate premade embellishments like die cuts and stickers that allow crafters to get the same sort of look without the need for fine-tipped scissors.

I am absolutely addicted (in the best kind of way!) to making shaker cards (and tags, etc) and can rarely go more than a few projects in a row without creating a new one.

They are as fun as fun can be on the papercrafting front (for me) and have such a wonderful ability to brighten the recipient’s day as well.

Plus, I flat out adore coming up with unique combinations of sequins, beads, mini gems, polymer clay pieces, etc to include in this delightful type of project.
