I get that big time! My crafting style is heavily shabby chic (and rustic, vintage, etc) inspired, but were that to ever change, I doubt I’d part with many of my shabby craft supplies either. They’re just sooo gorgeous! 😄

I think it’s possible to utilize jewelry in non-shabby chic settings, too – which can be really handy. For example, what about a lovely star-shaped brooch or bead atop a Christmas tree on a holiday greeting or a heart earring on a Valentine’s Day card?

Sweet Vicki, thank you wholeheartedly. I often wonder if many folks who visit my project share entries here read the post or simply look at the photos.

Either approach is a-okay with me, of course (and I fully understand that not everyone has the time available to read through a multi-paragraph blog post), but it hugely motivational + beneficial to me to receive feedback on the information I house in these posts.

I’ve wondered at times if I should take a more streamlined approach to them and (perhaps) just share photos and a few lines. I’m not saying I’ll never go down the path, each time I actually sit down and contemplate doing so, my inner voice encourages me to be more detailed and thus these longer format project share posts come to be.

Endlessly lovely Lynne, please do not worry for a nanosecond. I fully understand and am always tickled pink (err, a nice gothy shade of midnight black) to hear from you anytime, anywhere.

For a variety of reasons (some of which I touched on here in a recent mid-August post), I’ve not been online much in recent weeks myself. Indeed, and much to my chagrin, it’s been almost 4 weeks now since I’ve had a chance to even log into (let alone post on) Instagram. I am aiming to remedy that as we head into September and to generally return to being online a bit more, if circumstances permit.

Sizzling hot as it was (and still is), it’s hard to believe that another summer is already waning. Despite various challenges, both personally and moreover globally, this season, I’ve adored the summer in a lot of ways this year and wish it would linger a bit longer. Mind you, not so much that it seriously encroached on our beloved fall time. I’m all for sunshine and flowers, but I’m even more so for harvest moonlight and pumpkins. 😄

Thank you again for everything – including commiserating regarding the comically steep shipping rates we have to contend with in this country.

This summer has been a bit of a mixed bag and I’ve scarcely been online at all in recent weeks as a result. Thankfully though, despite some less than ideal elements both in my own life and certainly the world at large as well, I’ve loved this summer fiercely. I’ve been able to spend a fair amount of time outdoors and have felt a deeper connection to the present season than I have in a great many years. So much so that I already know I’ll be a bit blue when summer wraps up. Thankfully fall is my absolute fave season, so that should help to make the transition easier.

Likewise, I wholeheartedly hope that your summer is going positively as well.
