You are wholeheartedly welcome, lovely Donna. Thank you very much in turn not only for your sweet words here, but for blessing my humble blog with an abundance of recent comments. I truly appreciate you sharing your time with me.

I adore working with wax as well - a passion that really found its footing back during my Girl Guide days. For one of our craft evenings, we made candles from thin sheets of beeswax and I was instantly hooked on this versatile, classic, incredible smelling gift from our bee friends.

Thank you again, my dear friend. Please know that you are in my thoughts and wished an immensely lovely, relaxing, and happiness filled November.

I so love crafts, Autumn - when my energy comes back I wish to craft a whole lot out of my beeswax as we have just harvested our first batch of honey ... an exciting time as budding apiarists!
It would be good to have a go at making some black salt ...

Thank ups again for sharing such great ideas!

Thank you very much, sweet Sanne. I completely agree with you regarding the difficulties of saying goodbye to summer. Even when the season makes you beg for the sweet release of winter's chill, there is a powerful, inherent beauty and sultry appeal to summer that makes it easy to love and easier still to miss as soon as it's gone.

Likewise, I am with you completely regarding enjoying/preferring sleeping in a colder room. I am exactly the same way. Alas, my sweet hubby doesn't share these feelings, so I usually only get to sleep in a cooler room when he's travelling for work (or if I opt to forgo putting some of the bedding on me, which isn't quite the same, I find, as the room temperature itself being lower).

You are so kind and supportive. Thank you for the beautiful compliment about my writing. It sincerely made my day and then some.

Many hugs & the happiest of Halloween season wishes,

Thank you very much, my dear friend. I'm delighted to know that you enjoyed these links. Thus far, this ongoing seasonal blog post series hasn't proven to be the absolute most popular here, but that those who like it, really seem to do so, and knowing that you're one of them is genuinely encouraging for me when it comes to penning future editions.

I hope that your glorious fall weather is still going strong (after barely a month of autumn weather, we started getting snow again this week, so chances are, this will prove to be a rather brief fall from a weather perspective at least) and that you have a splendidly lovely Halloween season.

Big hugs!

Thank you very much, Ally. It's awesome, truly, that you find walking to be highly beneficial as well, including from both an emotional and mental standpoint. I am with you there a trillion percent and have found that regular walks are one of the single most effective measures I have in my arsenal for managing mental health issues (including times of severe depression).

Winter came extra early here this year, with the first snowfalls of the season tumbling down this year. As such, outdoor walks will diminish in volume for a while, but thankfully we have our trusty treadmill at the ready and I've already been clocking the KMs on there again.

I hope that your October is going wonderfully and that you have a fabulously fun Halloween season!

In reply to <a href="https://witchcraftedlife.com/magick-crafty-makes-and-me-summer-2020-edition/#comment-1211">Ann</a>.

How right you are, dear Ann. It's astonishing, downright astonishing, how long ago it feels since spring began. If you said that it was in fact ten years since that point, I don't think I'd even question it.

The weeks, months and seasons of 2020 have, at times, felt very speedy, but at a collective whole, this has been a tremendously long feeling year for a lot of us (myself included).

Tony and I have often remarked that we can scarcely believe that a certain event that transpired in 2019 was actually just a year (or however many months) ago.

Likewise, I can sincerely relate to what you said regarding not crossing as many jobs off you (want) to do list as you'd hoped. There have been no shortage of times in 2020 when that rang true for me as well.

It is important to not underestimate or diminish the impact that everything the world has been enduring this year has had on our mental health and energy levels. Even the most resilient amongst us have needed to process, adapt and come to terms with a lot of substantial changes to our usual way of life and societal norms in a very short amount of time. That takes a toll and is no small matter.

Now, more than ever, it is vital that we go easy on ourselves and each other. Make self-care a priority, and focus less on what we haven't done and more on doing that that bring us joy, peace, and an important sense of fulfillment.

Thank you very much for your comment and for speaking openly about some of the aspects of how this year has impacted you.

Immense hugs & the happiest of Halloween season wishes,

As a fellow fallaholic (loved that term!) I also have a hard time saying goodbye to summer. It is like saying goodbye to a friend when you know it will be very long before you see each other again. But I do love my dark and cold bedroom when going to sleep now. I've always hated the heatwaves too. I'm glad to hear that the summer has done good to your health, and I certainly look forward to reading all your autumn related content - I love your poetic writing. Have a lovely day, dear. :)

It feels to me that both Spring and Summer's leases had "all too short a date" this year, while at the same time it feels like an eternity ago that the first signs of Spring brought a spring in our steps. What a strange year it has been so far, and I'm sure that 2020 will be etched forever in our minds and hearts. I've spent a lot of time in my garden courtesy of the many dry and sunny spells, and it has certainly benefited from the time I was able to devote to it. At times, though, the current situation has left me quite numb, so that in the end I didn't achieve much of what I'd planned to do with the oodles of time I suddenly had on my hands. I am glad to read that you are feeling very renewed right now, Autumn. And those crocheted face masks are absolutely delightful! xxx
