Hello sweet Debi, thank you very much for your lovely comment. It's awesome that a passion for jigsaw puzzles is another delightful point that we have in common.

My understanding is that the company is aiming to become more readily available in the States. Hopefully that will soon be possible and then folks in the US can avail of this brand's terrific puzzles.

Isn't it wonderful? Puzzling has seen a real resurgence in recent years and I am - as the kids today like to say - "here for it".

I'm thinking of you big time throughout this festive chapter of the year, my sweet friend, and hoping that you + your family are enjoying a beautiful holiday season.

Oodles of hugs

PS: There is some holiday mail from me coming your way.

Awesome opening line of your comment, dear Kate. I smiled ear-to-ear, as it's safe to save the same applies to me and Tony (my DH) as well.

I second your wish! It would be awesome to hunker down over a fantastic puzzle together, share a gab fest and some lovely nibbles, too.

Who knows - we are both in the same country after all and it's not inconceivable that we might be able to meet up in person one day. My heart smiles at the thought.

Thank you sweetly for your terrific comment. I hope that these final days of 2021 are smiling warmly on you and your loved ones, and that you have the very merriest of festive seasons.

That's an awesome tradition! Cobble Hill puzzles are fantastic. I've done a few over the years and am always impressed with the quality of this BC-based company's offerings.

If you're ever up this way, there is a terrific store in Vernon called Teach and Learn (on 30th Avenue) that has one of the best selections of puzzles I've yet encountered anywhere in the Okanagan. It might be a really fun place to snap up one for your mom.

Wishing you, L, your mama, and all those you hold dear a happy, safe, cozy, and endlessly enjoyable festive season!

Thank you very much, sweet Carol. I am tickled pink to know that this post and the interview it housed really resonated with you.

I'm with you completely and rarely part ways with puzzles that we've completed (though, as we live in a small house and space is at a premium, I might have to weed a few out eventually). It's so fun to revisit them periodically. I can definitely see myself doing just that with The Witches Lair.

My mom and I have a tradition - a few years in the running now - of doing a Halloween-themed puzzle each autumn. I love scouring the web for fresh options as fall rounds the bend each year and treasure this delightful addition to our spooky season happenings.

Big hugs & the merriest of holiday season wishes coming your way,

And a very hearty thank you in turn, dear Ivana, for your detailed, wonderful comment. I sincerely appreciate you responding to this post in such depth. Just as I do your wish that better days come both our ways on the health front in 2022. I second that hope entirely.

How right you are regarding the importance of balance and composition in puzzles, much like art and photography. That is a terrific point and one that drives home all the more that you are an artist through and through.

Warm hugs & the sweetest of wishes for a joyful holiday season,

Sweet Meg, I'm so sorry that you had to endure surgery. Having been on the operating table numerous times in my life, I know firsthand how challenging and stressful the recovery period that follows can often be.

It is truly wonderful that puzzles helped you through that difficult chapter of your life. They did much the same for me in the immediate aftermath of the arson fire we experienced in October 2016. (At her house) My mom and I would do them for hours many nights immediately afterwards and I will never forget how calming and restorative act that was.

Thank you very much for your terrific comment. I hope that your December is going well and that you have a cozy, joyful holiday season.

Oh! This is so fun! We're a puzzling family (likely in all ways that can be interpreted!) although there we haven't done a puzzle together since the summer. I especially enjoy the Wasgij line - but am always interested in new puzzles. I like the idea of the little furball Pennywinks being found in each of the puzzles.

So glad you had such a delightful time. I wish I could have joined you! I always enjoy good conversation over a fun puzzle.

Being a life-long jigsaw puzzle enthusiast, I found this article (and puzzle) to be fascinating! I love the thickness of the puzzle pieces as it reminds me of the puzzles of yesteryear that no longer seem to be available. I've kept all my puzzles for the past few years and dig them out every few years and they're all new again. I even do smaller jigsaw puzzles online to pass the time when I need to be quiet and distracted from the world we're currently living in. Thanks for sharing this great puzzle with your readers and I hope you continue to find more good puzzles to keep you occupied when it's time to do something fun! Stay well and have a great week ahead!
